The first Single Malt release in Clan Colla's Family Bond Series was distilled in 2001 and represents an extremely limited release. This sourced-release spent 19 years in first fill American White Oak Bourbon Casks, before being finished in Spanish Oloroso butts from Jerez.

Clan Colla 19 Year Old Single Malt with an Oloroso finish won a Silver medal, scoring 94 points, at the International Wine and Spirits Competition.

Spanish Earl Single Malt Irish Whiskey starts its ageing in ex-Bourbon casks for nearly 4 years, and then is split into two finishing casks, ex-Imperial stout and ex-aged, golden Jamaican rum.

The two triple-distilled malt Irish whiskeys are then recombined after at least 3 months apart, and bottled. The stout element is inspired by Juan del Aguila’s time spent in Cork, renowned the world over for stout production for hundreds of years, while rum, being the preferred drink of seafarers of old, lends sweet toffee to the dark chocolate of the stout.

This whiskey isn’t mass produced. Darryl personally hand picks each cask to make sure it’s exactly to his liking. Then every PX Sherry cask is bottled separately, with cask and bottle number noted on the label. Unlike many other Irish whiskeys on the market, Limavady is made with 100% malted Irish barley instead of a mix of malted & unmalted barley, which is true to Limavady’s origins and the traditional way of making great Irish whiskey. Limavady is aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finish in the highest quality PX sherry casks, affectionately known as “Darryl’s Barrels”. 

Featuring an old school 'blob-top', with the celebrated Irish wolfhound embossed below, the Limavady glass is based on an original bottle discovered after centuries buried in the fields near Darryl's home. The intentional imperfections of the glass texture, among other details, make a seemingly simple bottle a true relic.

Outwalker isn’t just a unique blend. It’s also uniquely aged – four different ways.

It contains pot still Irish whiskey aged in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. Single malt aged in burgundy white wine casks. Fine grain whiskeys aged in virgin American oak and in rye whiskey casks.

Here’s how it came about, by the person who created it – Irish whiskey connoisseur, cocktail creator and legendary bartender – Jillian Vose:

"For a long time I’ve felt that the Irish whiskey sector was missing a genuinely unique blend of component whiskeys – one that worked really well in cocktails but which was also complex and interesting enough to sip on its own.

I researched a lot of grain whiskeys, and two that stood out: one aged in virgin American oak and another in rye casks. These combined very well with each other, making a great backbone for the whiskey, bringing classic spiciness and vanilla but also some interesting tropical notes.

Adding the pot still aged in ex-Oloroso sherry casks brought richness and body, but also a layer of nuttiness that I think really compliments the fruit notes. The virgin American oak pulls out a lot of fruit notes from the white burgundy cask single malt. This brought everything together beautifully.

And the result is Outwalker."

Velvet Cap Single Malt Irish Whiskey was matured solely in Bordeaux red wine casks for a full 5 years.

This gives the whiskey its wonderful ruddy gold colour and the delicious scent of freshly baked red currant madeleines.
