Davidoff Yamasá begins with an immediately noticeable, spicy Nicaraguan taste. Beautiful flavours of nut, melted with spice, coffee, cedar wood, earth and black pepper notes further delight the aficionados palate. The cigar has a deep and complex body that slowly reveals itself.

The rich, red soil of the Yamasá valley was a challenge for the Davidoff farmers and Master Blenders. Yet 20 years of dedication moulded those earthy and spicy flavours into a complex masterpiece. It is a small miracle that such an enjoyment rose from the earth.

This special release of Oliva Serie V was initially meant to be a one-off limited run last year. However, the response from the market was so strong that Oliva decided to bring it out annually, with two releases per year.

The blend in this "re-release" remains the same – Nicaraguan binder and filler, wrapped in Ecuadoran leaf. While it's classed as a "perfecto" shape in Oliva's taxonomy, since the heads on these aren't tapered, some would say it'd be more accurate to class it as a "figurado".

Overall, this is one of the most complex flavour profiles in Oliva's portfolio – expect notes of earth, leather, dark chocolate and nuts, as well as a degree of sweetness and spice on the retrohale, typical for Serie V.

Serie V is a complex blend of Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos. Blended with specially fermented Jalapa Valley ligero, and finished with a high priming Habano sun-grown wrapper.

This cigar is blended to deliver full-bodied taste while maintaining an unparalleled smoothness. This flavourful blend exhibits complex tobacco with rich coffee and dark chocolate tones. A subtle and well-balanced spice is present throughout.
