Croithlí Quercus Alba is a double distilled Irish single malt finished in virgin American white oak. Part of the Coillín Darach Oak Series, it explores how a particular oak species can shape a whiskey’s flavour and character.
Delicate fruit and floral aromas lead into fresh green-fruit flavours, with oak providing structure and a dry, spicy close. The American oak adds a sweeter dimension, making this an interesting choice for drinkers who enjoy fragrant single malts with a clear wood influence.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Delicate, apricot and cherry blossom, a hint of sweet nutmeg, mace and pear drops
Palate: Ethereal green fruit and verdant oak
Finish: Dry and spicy with a delicate complexity
