The Velvet Cap is a blend of malt and grain Irish whiskeys, vatted and finished in bourbon, port and stouted rye casks.

Named after the velvet caps traditionally worn in point-to-point racing, Velvet Cap Irish Whiskey is blended by Blackwater Distillery in county Waterford.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Candied banana, honey, dark stone fruits & almonds.

Palate: Vanilla, plum, and agave with a luscious mouthfeel.
