Foxes Bow Irish Whiskey

Created by its proud Limerick founders, Foxes Bow Whiskey pays homage to the city that gave them their irreverent spirit. Sharp-tongued and charmingly brassy, it’s never been a fussy place.

Inspired by this, they're taking a different approach to whiskey, partnering with Limerick creatives like John Slade to design bespoke art for their bottle, and working with a Limerick Brewer and Blender to help them get creative with the blend and types of barrel finishes, producing a whiskey with a bold character as a nod to their city.

Aged in Bourbon barrels and finished in Oloroso and Rye casks - a highly novel mix of finishes in Irish whiskey, making for a layered, yet well balanced whiskey. Usually favoured by American and Canadian Whiskies, the inclusion of rye casks in the whiskey’s finish lends a floral bouquet to the whiskey’s nose, while providing an interesting lingering spice to the palate. Beginning with a burst of fruity sherry flavours, followed by a wave of spice and perfectly finished with a lingering velvety vanilla sweetness. Release 1 has no added colouring and is non chill filtered.
