Connemara Original is a peated Irish single malt from Cooley Distillery in County Louth. Its combination of sweet barley, honey and smoky peat gives it a distinctive character, with apple crumble and vanilla bringing a softer side to the flavour.

The smoke has both earthy and savoury qualities, balanced by gentle sweetness and a creamy texture. It’s an approachable introduction to peated Irish whiskey, while offering enough character for drinkers who already enjoy a smoky dram.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Apple Crumble, Kippers and Peaty Smoke.

Palate: Honey, Sweet Barley, Light Spice, Vanilla and Peat Smoke.
