Clonakilty Single Pot Still is made at the distillery in County Cork from locally grown malted and unmalted barley. Triple distillation in copper pot stills produces a whiskey with a full-bodied character, balancing fruit and vanilla sweetness with gentle wood spice.
Kiwi and citrus brighten the aroma, while caramelised pear, apple and dark chocolate give the palate depth. It suits drinkers who enjoy fruit-led pot still whiskey with a rounded sweetness, offering a distinctive introduction to Clonakilty’s own-distilled spirit.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Vanilla sweetness leads to hints of demerara sugar, citrus peel and kiwi.
Palate: Vanilla, caramelised pear and apple, gives way to a gentle wood spice, dark chocolate and orange.
