McConnell’s 5 Year Old Cognac Cask Finish is a blend of Irish malt and grain whiskies with a delicate, fruit-led character. Its Cognac-cask influence adds floral notes and a rounded texture to a foundation of bourbon-cask sweetness.

Orange peel, ripe banana and vanilla lead into candied lemon, dried pineapple and blonde chocolate. Raisins add depth, while lingering ginger spice gives the sweeter flavours a warming counterpoint.

This expression suits drinkers who enjoy fruity Irish blends with citrus brightness, gentle sweetness and a softer, floral dimension.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Macerated orange peel, ripe banana, and vanilla.

Palate: Candied lemons, icing sugar, flame raisins, blonde chocolate, dried pineapple.

Finish: Lingering ginger spice.
