Distilled at Great Northern Distillery, it is a rewarding choice for drinkers who enjoy pronounced cask influence and darker flavours. Roasted notes sit alongside syrupy fruit and gentle spice, while a lingering finish adds further layers. It suits slow sipping and offers plenty to explore with a few drops of water.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Rich stewed plum and malt biscuits dominate, with hints of pickled ginger and coconut adding depth.
Palate: Thick and viscous, with strong flavours of coffee, dark chocolate, and syrupy prunes. Sweet tobacco notes add complexity.
Finish: Ripe melon and red liquorice emerge, followed by lingering tones of black tea and molasses.
