Velvet Cap 5 Year Old Bordeaux is an Irish single malt released by Blackwater Distillery and matured entirely in Bordeaux red wine casks for five years.
Its character brings together redcurrants, dark cherry and dried fruit with vanilla, almond and biscuit notes. The full wine-cask maturation gives this expression a distinctive balance of fruit sweetness and drying tannins.
