The 13-year-old release of Clan Colla is a bourbon-aged blend with a generous secondary maturation in sherry-soaked Oloroso Casks from Jerez. Only the most exceptional whiskeys & wood selected by Gareth McAllister. Non-chill filtered and with no added colour.
Tasting notes:
Nose: A citrus shock of apple and orange, hints of toasted oak, honey and cream.
Palate: A smooth creamy sweetness with citrus and sherry notes, then more fruit, nuts and bourbon malt maturity, caramel and fresh apricots.
Finish: Deep and rounded finish, progressive warming with lingering fruit and nut.
