The Corona Gorda is, for many, the format in which a blend speaks most clearly. Slimmer in the hand, the No. 4 trades nothing for its elegance – a measured, even burn that gives the Selección room to unfold over the better part of an hour.

Long filler and entirely handmade in Danlí, Honduras, it is rolled from carefully chosen Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. Smooth and rich throughout, it opens on leather and earth with a thread of sweetness, then turns through black pepper, spice, mineral and malt. It begins just shy of medium-bodied and gathers strength as it goes, closing on a distinctive, lingering finish.
