The shortest vitola in the James J. Fox Selección range, the No. 1 packs the full character of the blend into a compact, generously gauged format – the choice for when time is short but standards are not. It draws cool and full, delivering everything the range has to offer in around half an hour.

Like every cigar in the Selección, it is long filler and entirely handmade in Danlí, Honduras, rolled from a blend of the finest Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The smoke is smooth and rich, opening on leather and earth over a quiet sweetness before revealing layers of black pepper, spice, mineral and malt. It begins just shy of medium-bodied and builds gently in strength, finishing on a distinctive aftertaste that lingers.
