James J. Fox Single Pot Still brings warming spice, rich fruit and creamy texture to our core Irish whiskey range. Sherry influence runs through its toasted hazelnut and fruitcake character, while candied citrus adds brightness to the deeper flavours.
Distilled at Great Northern Distillery, it is an inviting choice for drinkers who enjoy the distinctive spice and texture of single pot still Irish whiskey. Plum pudding, nutmeg and raisins give it a generous, comforting character, balanced by a fresh citrus edge that carries through the finish.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Clear sherry influence, toasted hazelnuts and linseed, with hints of gur cake sweetness.
Palate: Pot still spices dominate, complemented by plum pudding, candied peel, with nuances of nutmeg.
Finish: Creamy texture on the finish, with lingering notes of raisins, pomelo rind, nutmeg, and allspice warmth.
