West Cork Maritime Single Malt Virgin Oak Cask is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey finished in new oak casks from Kelvin Cooperage. Fresh wood and vanilla aromas lead into a light, gently fruity palate with black pepper at the close. Its spherical Maritime bottle takes inspiration from vintage glass fishing floats and the founders’ fishing background.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Hay, oak chips, sawdust, vanilla
Palate: Very light with slight fruitiness, but the main flavour at the end remains black pepper
