A landmark release in the world of fine Irish whiskey, The Last Drop 32 Year Old Single Malt is the third Signature Creation from The Last Drop Distillers — and the first to represent Ireland in the brand’s distinguished portfolio of extraordinary aged spirits.
Created by Louise McGuane, founder of JJ Corry Irish Whiskey and a founding member of The Last Drop Assembly, this release is the culmination of decades of expertise in curation, blending, and maturation.
The journey began on the McGuane family farm in Cooraclare, County Clare, where McGuane joined Rebecca Jago, Managing Director of The Last Drop Distillers, and Helen Mulholland, Master Blender at Lough Gill Distillery, to explore a library of exceptionally rare Irish whiskeys dating back to the early 1990s. From these treasured casks, a selection of vintage 1991 single malt whiskeys was chosen, carefully married, and finished in an ex-Oloroso sherry butt, resulting in a whiskey of remarkable depth and poise.
Bottled at 46.4% ABV and limited to just 663 individually numbered sets — each presented with a 700ml bottle and a 50ml miniature in exquisite presentation packaging — The Last Drop 32 Year Old captures the essence of Irish whiskey artistry elevated to its highest form.
