Keeper’s Heart Irish & Bourbon brings together Irish grain whiskey, Irish pot still whiskey and American bourbon. The result is a bourbon-led style with caramel sweetness and charred oak, complemented by butterscotch, earthy spice and a gently herbal character.
Created by Brian Nation in collaboration with High West founder David Perkins, it combines three distinct whiskey styles in one layered blend. Vanilla, cocoa and pecan-pie aromas make it inviting for bourbon drinkers, while the Irish components add another dimension for sipping neat or exploring in cocktails.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Rich caramel in a freshly baked pecan pie
Palate: Peppery with some herbal notes and sweet with vanilla malt shake, cocoa, tootsie roll
Finish: Lingering pleasant sweet rich wood
