Hakushu 18 Year Old Peated Malt 100th Anniversary combines refined smoke with fresh herbs, green fruit and honeyed sweetness. Sage, green apple and grapefruit give it a bright character, while gentle peppery spice and slowly unfolding smoke add depth.
Created for Suntory Whisky’s centenary, this Japanese single malt brings together carefully selected Hakushu whiskies matured for at least eighteen years. It offers an elegant interpretation of peated whisky, suited to drinkers who enjoy smoke balanced with freshness, herbal detail and a clean citrus finish.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Vibrant with top notes of sage, ripe green apple and hints of ripe pineapple.
