The Duke is the Selección at its most generous. The broadest, most unhurried draw in the range gives the blend's slow build in strength every chance to reveal itself – set aside an hour or more.
Like its companions, it is long filler and entirely handmade in Danlí, Honduras, rolled from the finest Honduran and Nicaraguan leaf. The smoke is smooth and full, beginning with leather and earth and a quiet sweetness before opening into black pepper, spice, mineral and malt. It starts just shy of medium-bodied and grows steadily richer, leaving a distinctive aftertaste in its wake.
