This batch of Tipperary Homegrown Barley Single Malt is made from Olympus barley grown in the Railway Line field on Ballindoney Farm. Matured in first-fill Rioja wine casks and bottled on the farm at 50% ABV, it offers a direct connection between the whiskey and the land that supplied its grain.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Abundance of Soft Fruits, almost a Victoria Sponge sensation with Strawberry and Raspberry notes and hints of Dried Grass.
Palate: Deep and Round with Raspberry notes and hints of Toasted Marshmallow.
Finish: Medium to Long in the Finish
