A 100% pure pot still whiskey that can trace its roots to the early 1900's, when Jamesons sold whiskey wine merchants Mitchell & Son. The current bottling made at Midleton from 7-12 year old pure pot still whiskey, with 25% coming from sherry casks. Made in very limited quantities it is highly prized by both drinkers and whiskey writers.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Fresh Aromatic Oils and Spices with Orchard Fruits and Barley on a background of Toasted Wood.
Palate: A Full Pot Still Spice Body. Cloves with the Fruity Sweetness of Green Apples, combined with Toasted Oak.
