Crafted using Scotland’s tallest stills and matured exclusively in carefully selected American oak bourbon casks, Glenmorangie The Original develops a beautifully balanced character. Twelve years of maturation allow the whisky to absorb layers of flavour from the oak, resulting in a wonderfully creamy and approachable dram filled with vibrant fruit and delicate sweetness.
On the nose, bright citrus notes and ripening peaches are complemented by soft vanilla aromas. The palate opens with rich vanilla before revealing bursts of floral fruitiness, honey, and orchard fruits. The finish is remarkably long and satisfying, delivering lingering notes of almond, coconut, and a touch of maple syrup.
