Fercullen 21 Year Old is a mature Irish single malt combining the soft sweetness of bourbon-cask whiskey with the richness of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry finishes. Fresh fruit and vanilla fudge sit alongside dried fruit, chocolate and gentle oak spice.
Honeydew melon, lychee and pear-drop aromas bring freshness to a richer palate of fudge, dark chocolate, orange oil and hazelnuts. Candied cherries and fruitcake follow, with drying spice balancing the sweetness.
Released in limited annual editions, it suits drinkers who enjoy aged Irish malt with layered fruit, sherry influence and a creamy character.
