Triple distilled with Irish malted barley & uniquely Irish Barra Oats. Irish Barley imparts a silky mouthfeel when combined with Irish Barra Oats to create an intriguing balance of creaminess & spice to the finish that truly sets this Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey apart.
Matured in delectable Oloroso sherry casks that once held delicious sherry from Jerez in Spain, that have been hand selected by Head Distiller, Brian Taft.
Tasting notes:
Nose: A decadent suffusion of summer berries, pomegranate with melting toffee, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Palate: Oloroso sherry swirls within the warmth of custard tart, toasted oak and candied fruits, with a hint of crisp, fresh apple.
Finish: The creaminess of the Irish Barra Oats blends with spice of clove cinnamon from the Oloroso cask itself. It gives a delicious lasting finish to the very last sip.
