Clonakilty Single Batch Double Oak is an Irish blend combining vanilla and orchard fruit with warming spice and nutty flavours. Its oak treatment brings together bourbon maturation, virgin American oak and specially prepared European oak wine casks.
Apple and pear aromas lead into ginger, pepper, hazelnut and almond, with spice lingering through the finish. It suits drinkers who enjoy an approachable whiskey with a little more oak-driven character, offering a balance of sweetness, freshness and gentle warmth for sipping neat or serving over ice.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Soft Spice, Vanilla, Ripe Apples and Pears.
Palate: Warm Spice – ginger, Fresh Cut Grass, Hazelnut and Almond notes.,
