Loch Lomond The Open 153rd Royal Portrush is a Highland single malt released to celebrate the 2025 Open Championship. Created with Colin Montgomerie, it gives the distillery’s fruity, gently smoky style a red wine cask influence.
Orchard fruit and honey sit alongside red berries, with a little drying oak balancing the sweetness. The smoke remains soft, allowing the fruit to lead.
Made exclusively using Loch Lomond’s straight-neck pot stills, this edition offers a fruit-led alternative for drinkers who enjoy wine-cask whiskies with a restrained smoky edge.
