La Flor de Cano Selectos No. 3 (UK RE 2023)

The La Flor de Cano Selectos No. 3 marks the brand’s third appearance in the prestigious UK Regional Edition series, following the Short Robusto (2010) and Gran Cano (2013). Produced in a limited run of 125,000 cigars, this release revives the elegant Cervantes vitola—a format cherished by traditionalists and often affectionately called a Lonsdale, after the fifth Earl of Lonsdale.

Measuring 6½” x 42 ring gauge, the Selectos No. 3 offers a long, slim silhouette that allows its refined blend to evolve gradually and gracefully. Unlike the standard Flor de Cano range, which uses mixed filler, this edition is entirely handmade with long filler tobacco from Cuba’s famed growing regions.

Expect a sweet, floral opening with touches of citrus zest, transitioning smoothly into rich, rounded spice as the cigar develops. The balance is exceptional—never bitter, always elegant—making this a superb candidate for both immediate enjoyment and long-term ageing.
