Micil Madeira Island combines the warming spice of single pot still Irish whiskey with bright citrus, chocolate sweetness and a gentle smoky accent. Candied orange, apricot and grapefruit bring a lively fruit character, while nutty notes and soft turf smoke add depth.
Madeira wine casks enrich the whiskey’s fruit and spice, complemented by a separately finished component drawn from ex-peated whiskey casks. The result is expressive and textural, with sweetness balanced by citrus freshness.
Part of Micil’s Island Series, it suits drinkers who enjoy wine-cask influence and a restrained touch of smoke.
