Teeling Wonders Of Wood Single Pot Still Virgin Carpathian Oak

The fourth release in Teeling’s Wonders of Wood series explores the influence of virgin Carpathian oak on Dublin-distilled single pot still whiskey. Made from equal parts malted and unmalted barley, it combines pronounced spice with orchard fruit and aromatic wood notes.

Rosewater and candied fruit give the opening a fragrant sweetness, followed by apple, pear and sandalwood. Puff pastry and a campfire-smoke note add further detail to the finish.

This is an expressive choice for drinkers interested in oak-led whiskey, with the character of the wood playing a central role alongside the fruit and pot still spice.
