Roaming Road’s seven-year-old Indiana rye brings together warming spice and generous corn sweetness, with an Irish whiskey cask finish adding a distinctive connection between American whiskey and Ireland.
Its mash bill combines 51% rye with 45% corn and a small proportion of malted barley. The flavour follows that balance, moving from buttery grain and creamy butterscotch to peppery warmth, toasted rye bread and lingering caramel.
Selected as a single-barrel release and bottled at cask strength, this is a substantial, richly textured rye for drinkers who enjoy sweetness alongside their spice.
