The Macanudo Emissary España Robusto is a sophisticated handmade cigar that brings together exceptional tobaccos from five countries, including a particularly rare Spanish-grown leaf. Introduced in 2024, the Emissary España collection represents an ambitious exploration of European tobacco cultivation, combining traditional craftsmanship with an unusual and carefully matured blend.
At the heart of the cigar is Havana-seed tobacco grown near Riolobos in Spain, where warm Mediterranean summers and rocky soils contribute to its distinctive character. This remarkable leaf is complemented by selected tobaccos from Nicaragua, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and the United States, each aged to develop greater harmony and refinement.
The classic Robusto format offers a balanced, richly aromatic smoking experience, combining natural sweetness, toasted flavours and gentle spice with an elegant medium-bodied character.
