The peat charred cask is one of two whiskeys in this experimental range so far. This whiskey has been matured in an ex-Sherry Butt and then finished in heavily charred virgin white oak casks. This heavy charring was fuelled by peat from Glengarriff.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Slightly Sweet, Dried Fruit.
Palate: Smoke, and Slightly Sweet.
