Quercus Alba – ‘The American White Oak’, is used almost exclusively by the American Bourbon industry, but is also used for a lot of white wine maturation.
The oak is grown in the USA, and imparts sweet caramel, toffee, vanilla and coconut sweetness.

Nose: Delicate, apricot and cherry blossom, a hint of sweet nutmeg, mace and pear drops
Palate: Ethereal green fruit and verdant oak
Finish: Dry and spicy with a delicate complexity
