Irish Whiskey – Paddy

Irish Whiskey – Paddy

Named after Paddy Flaherty, a salesman from Cork hired by Cork Distilleries Company (who produced this whiskey at the time) in 1882. Legend has it he travelled to various pubs in Cork and bought drinks for people as a selling technique to introduce his product. The method turned out to be very successful and the whiskey was renamed Paddy in 1912 in Flaherty's honour.
