W.D O'Connell's latest Single Pot Still Irish whiskey, Tomásín (pronounced: thumb-aus-een) is named after the home of their headquarters in Choill Mhic Thomáisín (Kilmacthomas), Co. Waterford. 

Distilled at Great Northern Distillery in 2016, Tomásín PX was matured in a first-fill ex-bourbon cask for 6 years.

This offering from W.D. O'Connell is another step in their journey to create their own Single Pot Still using cask styles from previous releases.

This is an extremely limited release of only 260 bottles. 

Tasting notes:
Nose: Oak shavings, green spices and ripe elderberries exhibit a new era of Irish pot still flavour.

Palate: Cardamom dusted pears, juicy ripe elderberries, coconut flakes, vanilla & créme fraiche.

Finish: Roasted walnuts, candied pecans & pears.
