Knappogue Castle 12 Year Old – Cognac Cask

Knappogue Castle Cask Finish Series is a range of single malts finished in a variety of non-whiskey casks. Cognac limited release was matured in bourbon barrels for a minimum of 12 years, then further aged in casks that previously held cognac. On the nose, expect citrus, stone fruits, tropical and floral notes. A rich palate opens up to baked fruits, vanilla and grape jam sweetness with a gentle, gingery finish.
