Teeling Wonders Of Wood Single Pot Still Chinkapin Oak

The first edition release in Teeling's Wonders of Wood series - Single Pot Still whiskey matured in Virgin Chinkapin American White Oak Casks. 

Using single pot crafted from a recipe of 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted barley which has been triple distilled in their  Dublin distillery, the Wonders of Wood series is the winner of the coveted title "Worlds Best Irish Single Pot Still" at the 2022 World Whiskies Awards. 

This expression is bottled at 50% ABV.

Tasting notes:
Nose: Sweet toffee and butterscotch with caramel biscuits and wood tannins

Palate: Banana bread and ginger spice

Finish: The wood spice lingers accompanied by dark chocolate and a hint of black pepper.
